Sean G. King - President

With a background in accounting, law, taxation, insurance, and
investments, Sean is uniquely qualified to work in the financial
services industry. Sean received his Bachelor of Science in
Business Administration degree, Cum Laude, after majoring
in Accounting and Business Law at the University of Tennessee
(UT). In 1993, Sean earned his Master’s degree in Accounting
with a concentration in Taxation from UT, and in 1996 Sean
received his Doctor of Jurisprudence (law) Degree, Cum Laude,
also from UT. Today, Sean holds active licenses as a CPA,
attorney, insurance agent, and is a registered representative
with Financial Network Investment Corporation.
In 1996, Sean and his partner, Tim Sykes,
founded Retirement Plan Consultants, Inc. (“RPC”), a retirement
plan design, consulting and administration firm. RPC serves
thousands of participants and plan sponsors in 17 states
representing approximately $900,000,000 in assets. Its strength
is its professional staff – collectively with more than 75 years
of qualified retirement plan experience – who provide
highest-quality services employing a high-touch business model.
Sean serves as RPC’s President.
Sean also serves as Managing Director of
SageView Advisory Group for the Southeast. SageView is a
prominent and respected investment advisory firm that
specializes in helping retirement plan fiduciaries fulfill their
important responsibilities, and it is the designated retirement
services resource nationally for Willis. .
Sean’s specializes in creatively
structuring qualified and non-qualified retirement plans to
assist clients in achieving business, retirement, estate
planning, tax savings and asset protection objectives.
Sean lives in Knoxville, Tennessee with his
wife and soul mate, Cindy, ten year-old identical twin boys,
Shelton and Logan, and four year-old daughter, Clara.
