Tim Sykes serves as a Principal of SageView Advisory Group, a National SEC Registered Investment Advisor to large retirement plans throughout the country. In this role, he manages and directs all of the SageView operations for the Southeast Region. He is also one of the founding partners of Retirement Plan Consultants, Inc. – a regional retirement plan design, consulting and administration firm located in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Prior to his affiliation with SageView, Tim worked in the financial services industry, focusing on estate planning, investments, and retirement plan design. Tim is also very active in community and civic organizations. He has served on a number of boards and committees that focus on fundraising for such groups as the Helen Ross McNabb Center, Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Knoxville, The Wee Course at Williams Creek and the Knoxville Open. He is an active board member at Cherokee Country Club and has served as a board member of the Knox County Public Building Authority, and Fox Den Country Club.
